This presentation will help Professional Fiduciaries: (1) avoid claims and disputes; (2) ensure they are covered by insurance in the event of a claim; and (3) navigate the claim handling/professional liability insurance process.
Ashley L. Glazewski is an associate attorney at Furman Kornfeld & Brennan LLP. Ms. Glazewski’s practice focuses on insurance coverage analysis and litigation, monitoring counsel and program/claims administration, lawyers’ professional liability, and miscellaneous professional liability litigation. During her time at Furman Kornfeld & Brennan LLP, Ms. Glazewski has contributed to various articles and publications regarding insurance defense matters, and has been a speaker at the Professional Fiduciary Association of California’s annual conference.
Lawrence D. Hilton, founder of Dominion Insurance Services, serves professionals in a wide range of disciplines. His prior law practice focused on professional liability defense and insurance coverage. He belongs to the California and Utah Bar Associations, holds insurance licenses in all 50 states, and is a Lloyd’s of London coverholder.
Andrew R. Jones, Esq. is a partner in the New York City-based law firm of Furman Kornfeld & Brennan LLP. Mr. Jones’ practice includes the representation of law firms, fiduciaries, and other professionals throughout all phases of litigation. Specifically, his insurance coverage practice includes the representation of insurers in complex coverage litigations, arbitrations, monitoring counsel, and providing various other forms of insurance coverage analysis and advice. Additionally, Mr. Jones has drafted insurance policies and risk management guidelines for international insurers, and has advised on coverage matters both in the U.S. and abroad. Mr. Jones has written and contributed to numerous articles on insurance coverage and insurance defense matters, and has been a speaker at professional liability conferences in London, New York, and California.
Kim Schwarcz has worked as a professional fiduciary since 1996 and currently has over 40 clients in Marin, San Francisco, East Bay and Sonoma counties that she serves in various capacities. She is a California Licensed Professional Fiduciary through the California State Consumer Bureau of Affairs. Kim joined the Professional Fiduciary Association of California in 2001 and was elected as Vice President of the Northern California Region of PFAC in 2004, President of the Region in 2005, and served as Regional Director of Northern California and on the State Board of Directors for four years.
