“Judge David L Belz is currently assigned to the Probate Department in Orange County Superior Court. In his legal career he was a trial attorney in private practice for 32 years before his appointment to the Orange County Bench in 2009. He served 5 years in family court and is currently assigned to the probate court and handles long cause probate trials. He is a faculty member for the Judicial Council of California Center for Judicial Education and Research (CJER) and has taught numerous classes in family law and probate law. Judge Belz has a passion for civility and professionalism in the courts.
